For corporations and businesses, fees are always tax deductible. For individuals, your fee may be deductible on your personal tax return depending on the type of income you are reporting and the work involved. We always deduct our fees wherever possible.
Generally, no. Our year-end engagements are based on a fixed fee structure. We will provide you with a fee for your year-end, and we will honour the fee. The only time we keep track of our time is when we clean up your bookkeeping. If your bookkeeping is not accurate, extra fees may apply to get everything in order. We will be sure to let you know in advance if that is the case.
